Plans are underway for the 2027 Fayette Festival of the Arts on Saturday, August 7, 2027, and vendors are invited to be part of this annual community celebration. Applications for vendors will be available in the summer of 2027.

The festival welcomes enthusiastic vendors with unique handmade items, creative products, delicious treats, and helpful information to share with visitors as we celebrate the talents, traditions, and community spirit that make Fayette special.

The Fayette Festival of the Arts offers a full day of entertainment and activities for visitors of all ages. Festival highlights include live music on the bandstand, the annual Fayette Art Show at the Ashby-Hodge Gallery in Classic Hall on the Central Methodist University campus, the Mary Jarboe Memorial Cake Contest and auction, the Classic Car Show, Kids' Korner activities, the Quilt Show at Linn Memorial United Methodist Church, and much more.

The festival is centered around the historic Howard County Courthouse, one of Fayette’s most recognizable landmarks. The beautifully landscaped courthouse square—with its green lawns, shade trees, benches, walkways, and charming bandstand—provides the perfect setting for a day of music, art, shopping, and community celebration. Visitors from Fayette and surrounding communities come together each year to enjoy a picturesque slice of small-town Americana.
